FREDERICK, MD, June 2, 2021 – Unity Technologies Corporation (UnityTec) was awarded a single-award, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a maximum value of $24M to provide a broad range of professional services to support the agency in multiple functional areas. These include audit readiness, engineered standards, industrial modernization, distribution operations, public relations, and environmental, health, and safety programs.
UnityTec was the incumbent on the program and will continue to provide services as assigned through task orders. The services are provided at the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Distribution Headquarters in New Cumberland, Pa., and at DLA’s distribution centers worldwide. The five-year period of performance began April 1, 2021.
UnityTec will continue to provide program management, systems and industrial engineering, business process improvement, and analytical support as well as data collection services for DLA Distribution during the lifecycle of several significant programs. The company applies its agile management approach, understanding of the military supply chain, and emerging commercial distribution technologies and techniques to continuously increase the efficiency of DLA’s supply services to the US Military and other federal agencies.
"Our goal is to help DLA increase the efficiency of its global network of distribution centers and maximize material readiness for the Warfighter and civilian agencies, such as the Federal Emergency Management Agency, which was critically important during the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Lesley Dorsey, CEO.
UnityTec provides similar professional and technical services to the Army, Army National Guard, Marine Corps, National Cancer Institute, and Department of State.
