FREDERICK, MD., Jan. 22, 2019 – Unity Technologies Corporation (d.b.a. UnityTec) is pleased to announce that it was awarded a subcontract with the Global Language Center (GLC). UnityTec will provide onsite and distance/remote language training services for the US Department of State (DoS) Foreign Service Institute (FSI) School of Language Studies (SLS). SLS provides in-person and technology-based learning to enhance essential language skills that prepare diplomats within DoS and the broader USG foreign affairs community to work and live abroad effectively.
Under this subcontract, UnityTec supports the curriculum development, language instruction, and classroom management of small classrooms and up to large 200-person formal lectures and OCONUS immersion activities.
UnityTec started placing instructors on the program in November 2018.
