
FREDERICK, MD., July, 7th, 2017 – Unity Technologies Corporation, UnityTec, was recently awarded a subcontractor position for the State Department’s top and highly anticipated Africa Peacekeeping Program (AFRICAP), an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract with a ceiling value of $1.5 billion over 5 years.
AFRICAP operations are a core aspect of the State Department’s continuing goal to enhance regional peace and stability in Africa through training and advisory services, equipment procurement, logistical support, maritime security, capacity building, operational deployment for peacekeeping troops, aerial surveillance, conference facilitation, and construction services to African countries.

UnityTec will join NEWS in competing for task orders on the contract to develop and implement training programs, provide logistical support for equipment and materials, and assist with the construction of temporary and/or permanent facilities to support new and ongoing requirements for the local African partner countries.
